I was sitting across from the soccer fields with my camera. I was anticipating the question that everybody would probably ask me- "Aren't you supposed to be in school?" I am sitting there with my camera in front of a road that has an abnormal amount of cars and people going by. Isn't it weird how when you don't want people to watch then there is automatically more people passing? I had to hold all the dandelions still so I could keep the seeds somewhat in focus. The man walking by seemed like he was trying to torture me, going slower than a sloth with a broken leg. So there I sat, taking pictures of flowers, pointing the camera in the direction of my head. Little does the man know, that I am not taking hundreds of pictures of myself. Little does he know, that I don't even like pictures of myself!
On rare occasions, I would get me in the picture on purpose, and then, I would look all the more ridicules, pointing the camera at myself, switching into manual focus, pressing self timer, getting back to my spot, picking a dandelion, and just barely making a seed fly away before I heard the shutter button.
And then there is the dad mowing his lawn across the street from me. Every once in a while he would look up, as if asking, you're still here?.. and yes, every time, I was.
Then there was those pictures that would crack me up. Like this one, ^^ where apparently the dandelions knew they were being photographed. People would look at me when I started laughing quietly, but as my brother says, "We might as well be jolly!" :)
Next came the buses. The kids who would be pointing out their windows at me, wondering how in the world did she get over here when school just got out a couple minutes ago? Little do they know that I, the one who is sitting in the middle of a dandelion field, pointing a lens in the most obnoxious direction, is a blessed homeschooler, who gets out of school whenever I'm done.

I am also a photographer, and I love it.
*Do you like my new design?*
